Swan Donates Christmas Toys to Local Charities at The Swan

Swan Shopping Centre donates to charity

The shopping centre was able to help bring a smile to some local children’s faces this Christmas with the donation of toys to a variety of local causes.  The shopping centre worked with The Domestic Abuse Safeguarding officer at West Midlands Police to put together packs of treats for children including soft toys, games and activity sets. The sets were distributed to Trident Reach, a local charity service that provides a help line, emergency access refuge and long term accommodation refuge for victims and their children.

Some of the causes who received the toy bundles commented,

Hays Housing, “Thank you for the lovely gifts for our children , they will be over the moon. Keep up the fab work!”

Birmingham Crisis Centre, “Thank you so much from all of us at The Birmingham Crisis Centre for your very generous donation of toys for the Children at our Centre – it is truly appreciated and so kind of you to be thinking of us especially over these difficult times.”

Barry Cartmell, Centre Manager at The Swan comments, “It was great to have the chance to get involved with this campaign to spread some joy to some very deserving local children this Christmas.  We’re so pleased that our donations helped to make a difference to families who really need some extra help.”
